Sadie's is located at our directors home/property near Perryville. Sadie's director still works but will retire Dec. 31st.

Until then the Sadie's time would have to be evenings and Friday afternoons with me.  The student would need to be supervised for at least the first several visits on site.  Depending on the student, they may be able to come and go as fits their schedule.  There would also be things they could do on their own such as some website, computer work and errands.

The student would most likely need to have transportation.  

Between the directors and myself, we could keep them busy for 8 to 10 hours a week.

Here are some ideas of ways they could help.

-Daily TLC with the cats of Willow Creek and dogs and cats at Sadie's.

   (Our animals need socialization to increase their adoptability and

   enhance their quality of life.)

-Up keep of two websites (petfinder.com)

    (Help with photographing animals and putting them on the sites and

      updating adoptions etc)

-Fund raising- Pizza Hut fund raisers the second Tuesday of each month.

(5:00 - 10:00)

      They would just need to fill in when we could not make it.

-PSA's for events

-Making and posting flyers, of adoptable animals and events.

-Running errands to purchase supplies. ( If this is allowed)

-Help with adoptathons in town and at Petsmart.  These are on weekends so

    this may not be possible.

-Cleaning (scooping litter boxes) would be up to them.  It always needs

doing and would be a big help, but we will not require it.

If the student has ideas for fund raising, education or publicity they would be able to pursue them!
